Murray State University’s women’s golf team will participate in the SoCal Spring Invite in Camarillo, California, starting March 8. The event, hosted at Sterling Hills Golf Club, will feature 15 teams. Murray State is the only Missouri Valley Conference representative in the field.

The tournament includes several programs from power conferences. This season marks a record for Murray State as they face 14 power conference teams, more than any previous year for the program. The upcoming trip is also just the second time Murray State’s women’s golf team has competed in California.

Competition will span three days with 18 holes played each day from Sunday through Tuesday.

Murray State’s lineup for the event includes Ella Scherer, Tina von Arx, Elin Tynan, Katherine Weir, and Patti Patterson. Kylah Lunsford will compete as an individual.

Fans can follow live scoring and updates on the tournament field at SCOREBOARD – MSU SoCal Spring Invitational (Women) Participants.
