West Kentucky Community and Technical College’s 8-week classes offer flexibility tailored to the needs of students. Classes begin March 6.

“Our 8-week classes are a great option for prospective students to begin at WKCTC,” said Octavia Lawrence, interim vice president of student services. “We want students to know it’s not too late to get started, and we will help them with each step to register for classes.”

The 8-week format includes offerings that lay the foundation for many technical programs, and can also prepare students to transfer to a four-year university.

Financial aid and scholarships are available. The college has the WKCTC Adult Promise Scholarship for new students who are 25 years old or older, and the MacKenzie Scott Opportunities Scholarship (S.O.S.) for new students who are 24 years old and under. Additional scholarship criteria and applications are also on the WKCTC website.

Registration for 2023 summer and fall classes begin March 1. Contact the WKCTC Admissions office at (270) 534-3435 or WKCTCenrollment@kctcs.edu.
