New Barber Shop Opens On 5th Ave In Calvert City

There is a new barber in town, and he has set up shop on 5th Ave.

Kurt Pierce, born and raised in Marshall County decided it was time to open his own barbershop after renting a chair in Kuttawa. He opened Game Day Barbershop on November 8 at the small shopping center at 96 E 5th Avenue and he is looking forward to serving the area.

Pierce offers haircuts, head shaves, and beard trims and spent a lot of time remodeling the building to create an atmosphere people can feel comfortable visiting.

Pierce’s wife has been supportive of her husband’s new business and looks to join him in the space with her business soon. Together, Kim and Kurt, foster seven children and live in Kuttawa.

To schedule an appointment, call Kurt Pierce at (270) 559-5450.
