Full Time and/or PRN Coders needed – 7a-3:30p shift (flexible with hours) responsibilities include but are not limited to coding hospital records for the purpose of reimbursement, research and compliance with federal regulations according to diagnosis and operative procedures using ICD-10 classification system and CPT coding system. Reviews charts for completeness and coordinates the follow up on incomplete records. Must regard confidentiality highly. Must have previous coding experience. Certified Coding Specialist preferred. Due to complexity of hospital vs physician office coding, prior experience in hospital coding preferred.
