City of Paducah issued the following announcement on Oct. 1
Paducah Parks & Recreation is accepting registrations for REC Way Basketball. This league which has divisions for kids in preschool through 5th grade teaches the fundamental skills and rules of basketball.
Registration is available at the Parks & Recreation office at 1400 HC Mathis Drive from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, by calling 270-444-8508, or through the online registration system.
The registration fee is $60 per child. That fee includes three clinics, practices, and games. The deadline to register is Monday, November 11. A ten percent multi-child discount is available for children in the same household. Since coaches are volunteers, we ask parents to consider helping to coach.
The clinics will be on the following Tuesday evenings: November 12, November 19, and December 3. Weekly practices will start the week of December 9 at the Paducah Recreation Center or area gyms. Games will be at the Paducah Recreation Center beginning Saturday, January 11, 2020. Games will continue into February.
