U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell met with Pam Bondi, President-elect Donald Trump's nominee for Attorney General. McConnell shared his thoughts on the meeting in a statement.
“I was glad to meet today with President-elect Trump’s nominee to serve as Attorney General, Pam Bondi," said McConnell. "The American people deserve federal law enforcement authorities worthy of immense public trust. Ms. Bondi’s extensive legal and executive experience make her well-qualified to lead the Department of Justice.”
Bondi's nomination comes as part of Trump's preparations for his incoming administration.
