On Friday, March 6, Hannah Glisson, a former Graves County High School standout, and her current team the Transylvania Pioneers were defeated 70-65 by the UW Whitewater Warhawks in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament.
The matchup, held at Williams Center at 8:15 p.m., marked the Pioneers’ first contest against the UW Whitewater Warhawks in tournament play.
Murray State’s softball match against Southeast Missouri State has been canceled because of forecasted bad weather. The team will resume play against Drake University at the start of May.
Murray State baseball is set to face Memphis in a non-conference matchup at Johnny Reagan Field. The Racers look to continue their strong season as they take on the Tigers Tuesday afternoon.
