As the 119th Congress approaches, McConnell highlighted the leadership elected by Senate Republicans and extended congratulations to Senator Thune, Senator Barrasso, Senator Cotton, Senator Capito, Senator Lankford, and Senator Tim Scott for gaining their colleagues' trust.

Additionally, McConnell thanked Ann Berry, Secretary of the Senate, along with her professional staff such as Sydney Butler. He noted their involvement in numerous critical operations across different offices including "The Senate Library," "The Office of Interparliamentary Services," and more.

Special mention was made of Chaplain Barry Black and his team for addressing spiritual needs within the Senate community. The U.S. Capitol Police were also recognized for ensuring safety and security on Capitol Hill.

In closing his remarks, McConnell reiterated his ongoing commitment to acknowledging more members of the dedicated Senate staff in future sessions.
