MURRAY STATE UNIVERSITY: Recognized For Affordability in Recent Rankings

Affordability

Murray State University issued the following announcement.

A variety of Murray State University academic programs and degrees, as well as the institution overall, has been recognized for affordability by a recent online resource.

The website affordableschools.net identified the following Murray State programs and degrees:

#15 – Agricultural business management degree programs (bachelor’s)

#5 – Online bachelor’s degree in agriculture science

#7-  Online Master of Economics

#21-  Public colleges with online doctoral degrees

#3- Ph.D. in English language learning online

#5-  Veterinary studies degree programs (bachelor’s)

#8 – Writing degree programs (bachelor’s)

Murray State was also ranked the second-best affordable school in Kentucky for a bachelor’s degree.

Methodology associated with some of the rankings recognized Murray State’s low student to faculty ratio for personalized instruction, the University’s six-year graduation rate that places highly among comprehensive, public universities in Kentucky and the affordable average in-state tuition for online programs.

Earlier this year, Murray State was recognized by Washington Monthly as a “Best Bang for the Buck,” leading all Kentucky public higher education institutions.
