In the interest of nurturing “home-grown” business innovation, Mayfield Rebuilds is seeking input on the attached survey. The survey is seeking input on the desire and need for a community Maker’s Space to be established.
What is a Maker’s Space you might ask?
Whether you are a hobbyist looking to learn a new skill, someone looking to start or grow your side hustle, or a business owner looking for more guidance and equipment, this space is for you. From woodworking to laser cutting to screen printing and so much more, this will become a watering hole for a variety of makers and crafters.
How is a Maker's Space funded?
The Maker's Space would be funded through private investment, contributions, and federal/state grants will allow for the initial establishment. Membership fees, commissions on gift shop sales, and continued contributions will cover the operating expenses.
