U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Congressman Hal Rogers (KY-05) have proposed legislation to rename the United States Courthouse Annex in London, Kentucky as the “Eugene E. Siler, Jr. United States Courthouse Annex”. Judge Siler has served nearly five decades on the federal bench, having been nominated by three U.S. Presidents - Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, and George H.W. Bush - to the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
